Oliver Kohn is a 15-year-old sophomore at Craig High School. This is his first year at Craig as he went to virtual school last year due to COVID-19. He is in his first year on newspaper. He has enjoyed writing stories for nearly a decade, and wrote three novels between 2017 and 2019 using the National Novel Writing Month challenge. Writing is one of his main interests. He took a creative writing class in 9th grade. He has written podcast episodes, and created the history of a fictional empire. He has a variety of other interests, such as mythology, history, Dungeons and Dragons, genealogy, drawing maps and charts, math, geography, languages, travel, reading, being outdoors, and more. Oliver has lived in Janesville, Wisconsin, for his entire life, and has been to in-person school, virtual school, and homeschool. He hopes to see the Criterion produce interesting and intriguing stories which could give information to all of the students and staff at Craig. He wants to write articles that can introduce people to new ideas and subjects, but hopes that they also entertain the audience of Craig.
