Grad Walk takes seniors back to elementary schools

On Thursday, May 25, an event that has become a tradition for Craig seniors took place.

Seniors wore their caps and gowns and returned to their elementary schools to parade through the halls and around the playground.

They were met with cheering students and reconnected with some of their favorite teachers.

Emily Molidor went to Monroe. “It was really nice,” she said. “My kindergarten teacher has been retired, but she came back for the grad walk.”

She added, “I liked to see the reminders of Mrs. Burns.” The beloved principal passed away from cancer in 2014.

Emily was also surprised at how much the school had changed. Ashlyn McCombs visited Harrison and noticed how little things had changed.

“Everything was so small,” she said. “It was funny to go into the library and be able to see over the bookshelves.”

Thank you to the Craig staff who contributed pictures: Mrs. Kane, Ms. Campbell, Mr. Masterson, Mrs. Shucha, Mrs. Boylan, Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Disch, Mrs. Rudkin, and Mrs. Lehman.
