Cougars fall to Milton, 46-13

In Craig’s first game at Monterey Stadium in 2021, the Cougars fell behind to the Milton Redhawks 33-0 and couldn’t recover.

They scored at the end of the first half after a couple of big pass plays to take momentum into the locker room.

Touchdowns have been hard to come by for the Cougars this season, who have a record of 0-4.

One of the highlights for the Cougars included an interception in the end zone by senior Eric McLevige to end a Milton scoring threat.

Coach Bunderson said, “Eric is a good defensive player and senior leader.”

The Cougars’ touchdown drive at the end of the first half was aided by a 33 yard pass completion to junior Marshaun Harriel. That set up a touchdown catch by sophomore Tyler Steuck from a pass by junior Hunter Klietz.

Harriel finished with two catches for 72 yards and an 8-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The Cougars take on crosstown rival Parker on Friday, April 30.
