Craig has always had a large assortment of clubs, as proudly displayed by the enormous list on our high school web page.
It’s 2023, and this year is no different. Across the school, countless clubs have sprung up, ranging from Investment Club to French Club.
Today, we’ll be looking at three of Craig’s most interesting clubs and why you might want to join them.
Investing in New Opportunities
Does learning about how to make money on the stock market sound fun to you? How about going on an exclusive trip to Wall Street with friends from school?
If so, then Investment Club is a perfect fit for you. Run by Mr. Miles, the club meets every few weeks in Room 309.
You can expect lessons on topics such as option trading, as well as planning the possible trip. The club is always a fun experience.
Students Invent New Worlds
Are you an aspiring author? Worldbuilding Club, run by Mrs. Metcalf, meets every week on Wednesdays in Room 520. There, you will have a free space to develop your setting and world with other like-minded people.
Whether listening to someone else’s ideas or creating your own, we would recommend going to the club if you have any interest in writing. The club is especially useful for fantasy, sci-fi, or dystopian writers.
Craig’s Official News Network Now A Club!
Do you want to cover the day-to-day news of what is happening at Craig High School?
As of 2023, we are proud to announce that Newspaper itself is now a club. Newspaper meets after school on Mondays in Room 704 to create articles about a variety of topics. New staff members have a chance to contribute to and learn about Craig High School’s culture and student life.
Let us know in the comments what you think of these clubs.
