Cougar girls battle Verona Wildcats

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team faced off against the Verona Wildcats on Wednesday, February 3. Verona beat the Cougars 78-51, but the Lady Cougars put up a good fight. Their game following Verona was a victory over Parker, 68-41, on Saturday, February 6 The Cougars ended the regular season with a record of 11 wins and 8 losses. The Cougars have the number-one seed in their region and begin the WIAA basketball playoffs on Thursday, February 11. They will play the winner of Parker-Milton, who play Tuesday, February 9.
