Dona Stegeman is the new FACE teacher here at Craig. Born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Stegeman went to Carroll University for her bachelor of science degree and received her teaching certificate from UW-Whitewater. Stegeman became a teacher because she loved her teachers as a student and wanted to be a good role model for future students. She hopes her students learn to take their education seriously and understand that knowledge is powerful. She is inspired by her family, friends, and coworkers to continue teaching. She is married, has three children, and seven grandchildren. Stegeman is very passionate about biking and hopes to bike across the country when she is retired. A quote she really enjoys is, "Today you can embrace kindness, practice compassion, stand up for justice, talk to strangers, ask for help, offer hope and listen with your whole heart." -author unknown because she believes it perfectly reflects her teaching philosophy.
