The girls basketball team saved its best for last. Playing with a lead from start to finish, the 11th seeded Cougars defeated sixth-seeded Badger 61-43 on Friday, Feb. 22 in Lake Geneva. Timely three pointers, defensive stops, ferocious rebounding, and the ability to make free throws down the stretch powered the Cougars as they played one of their most complete games of the season.

Unfortunately, they lost another close one to Madison Memorial in the regional final on Saturday, Feb. 23, by a score of 54-51.
